We believe that a safe, nurturing and inspiring environment allows children to thrive. Our dedicated team works closely with pupils to ensure they make strong progress across all areas of the curriculum while developing confidence, resilience and a lifelong love of learning. We are proud of the strong partnerships we have with our families, governors and local community, whose support helps us create rich opportunities and memorable experiences for every child. Together, we are building a school community where children feel happy, respected, inspired and empowered to succeed.

Welcome to Knighton Primary School

At Knighton Primary School, children are at the heart of everything we do. We are proud to be an inclusive, caring and supportive school where every child is valued as a unique individual and encouraged to reach their full potential.

Our pupils take an active role in shaping school life, leading their own learning and having a strong voice in decisions that matter to them. Through our School Councils and pupil leadership groups, children lead projects, embrace challenges and work together to make a positive difference to our school and wider community.

Children’s Centre

A positive start to learning for our youngest children.

Our Children’s Centre provides three-year-olds with a welcoming, stimulating environment in which to learn through purposeful play and exploration. Children enjoy a varied range of creative, practical and physical experiences, including imaginative play, construction, dance, outdoor activities and regular Forest School sessions.

Healthy Schools

Our School Councils give children the opportunity to share their ideas, take on responsibility and help shape school life. Working together, each council focuses on an important area of the school, encouraging leadership, teamwork and making a positive difference within our community.
