The whole school have worked extremely hard to make Dydd Dathliad Cymraeg a huge success. The children’s attitude to the competitions and ’round robin’ of activities have been exceptional. Excellent performances by all classes delivering a Welsh song. Well done to all of our competition winners and all children for participating in the competitions.

World Book Day / Diwrnod Llyfr y Byd
What amazing costumes we have had to celebrate World Book Day! We have been sharing and discussing our favourite books and characters. We have used our creative skills to paint our favourite characters.

In Cnoc-y-coed, we investigated different genres of books and shared our likes and dislikes of books we have read and seen. We then designed our ideal book. We thought about having eye catching front covers and interesting blurbs.
Welsh Badges
Congratulations to our Welsh badge winners this week. You have been using lots of incidental Welsh inside and outside of the classroom. Da iawn pawb!!
Dydd Gwyl Dewi Sant Hapus
We looked amazing in our Welsh colours and costumes today. We have enjoyed painting daffodils, making Welsh flags digitally on Hwb, and preparing for Dathliad Cymraeg day next week.
