Today's Forest School in Dosbarth Gwennol
Gwennol continue to enjoy, explore and discover in our Forest School. We played games and the children were invited to develop their knot tying skills by making a photo frame.

Exploring and building shelters for some other animals!
The Spaceguard Centre
Today we walked to and from the Spaceguard Centre; approximately 12,000 adult steps! Everyone walked really sensibly and enjoyed the views! We learned some really amazing facts too!
Gwennol's First Forest School Session!
All children in Dosbarth Gwennol had a fantastic first forest schools session today with Mrs Fielding and Miss Darling aka Butterfly Treeo and Wolf Birdie! The class was split into two groups ‘The Nature Friends’ and the ‘Howlers’ (yes the children came up with these names) and we enjoyed spending some time embedding our rules and routines and beginning our forest school experience. We talked about staying safe in the forest and we spent time exploring the woods.
Role Play
In Welsh, we have been learning the names of different sea creatures. In pairs, we chose different sea creatures and asked and answered each other questions in role.

Platinum Jubilee Celebrations!
What a fantastic day we have had celebrating the Jubilee! We have made crowns, had a delicious lunch outside and our favourite thing of all, a visit from the ice cream van!
