As part of our PSHE work on relationships, we identified some things that may cause conflict between friends. We then demonstrated through role play how to use positive problem solving techniques to resolve these conflicts.
We followed instructions in Welsh to make our own paper boats. We floated the boats and estimated how many unifix blocks it would take to sink the boat. We recorded our results on a table.
Yesterday we welcomed John Meredith back to our school to work with children in years 1,5 and 6. He worked with children on two activities; discussing religious values and ethics through art and creating a video depicting the Creation Story.
This afternoon we listened to the Christian creation story and worked with Mr Meredith to take photos of our natural environment. We then used our digital skills to create a digital book using our photos. These can be found on Hwb!
