All children in year 5 and 6 engaged in science and technology activities. They made bath bombs following a BBC Good Food recipe. They planned and made packaging, thinking about what they should include on the packaging like attractive colours, designs and an ingredients list. Lucy said she enjoyed making her own products. Molly P said she liked working with other people. Freddie B said he liked measuring out and mixing to make the bath bombs. The children also looked at how different types of salt reacted in paint.
It was a very busy and productive day. We hope the children enjoyed using their products at home!
The children all had important jobs of being structural engineers. They had to design and make a boat that would hold the most weight and design and make a bridge that would hold the heaviest weight.

We had an AMAZING afternoon with the Animal Man! We loved the different animals and reptiles and were very brave by holding them. Mrs Evans, Mrs Humphries and Miss Sarah were also very brave and faced their fears too.
Today we loved the visit from the Animal Man. We were so brave and enjoyed touching, stroking and holding lots of exciting animals that some of us had never seen before.
Mr and Mrs Watts have been busy preparing a tree to be displayed at St. Edward’s Church during the festive period.
Each class in school have created two baubles to decorate the tree. The baubles are linked to our School’s Core Christian Values and they are made using recyclable materials.
