We have read the story At the Beach by Roland Harvey and looked at pictures of Tenby coastline.
We planned out paintings first, before experimenting with rollers, paint and pens to create our seaside pictures. They are works in progress.
Our new bronze sports ambassadors have been busy running their new club full of exciting games and activities!
As part of the museum’s guide book in our Mantle of the Expert, we were challenged to create simple algorithms to guide Beebots around the tomb of Tutankhamun.
This morning Eryr enjoyed helping Tom arrange our new plants ready for the other classes to plant.
We are so proud of our budding young performers and how they were able to convey all of their knowledge of the ancient Egyptian Gods, Kings and way of live to the stage in their recent production of ‘A Glint of Gold’. The play is about the dramatic discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb.
Wow! Jody Mc Partlin from Stoneglass Mosaics has put the finishing touches to our whole-school mosaic that she has worked with the children to produce. Since Easter Jody has worked with children throughout the school to design and create the mosaic based on our school values. The project has been part funded by a grant from the Diocese. Da iawn Pawb!
In Welsh this week, we have been learning about Anifeiliaid Anwes – Pets. We played a game of matching the pictures to the names of the animals, a game of Mouse Trap and Pet Circle Game. We had lots of fun and can name some pets in Welsh.
