Pyjama Drama

Louise from Pyjama Drama visited us on Friday to enhance our drama skills using the story of Pinocchio. We used our superb imaginations to retell a different ending to the Pinocchio story. We had lots of fun and used our team building skills well. Da iawn pawb!

Ffair yr Nadolig ac arian!

Our Christmas products are coming along nicely but how much should we sell them for…?

Excel was the chosen software to help us decide. The formulas are often difficult to remember, even for adults, but some remembered the work they completed with Miss Jeakings earlier in the term.

Pyjama Drama

Thank you to Louise from Pyjama Drama. We had a fantastic time using our drama skills to pretend Pinocchio went on a plane to Spain where he had a fantastic camping holiday, swam in the sea, went to a park and had a train ride. We role-played that we were Pinocchio in the ending of our story.

Pyjama Drama

Today, we were joined by Louise from Pyjama Drama. Louise worked with us to create a story about a family visiting a theme park and going on a rollercoaster ride. Here are some pictures of us acting out our story in our groups.

Which type of structure? Pa fath o structure?

We’re almost ready to design our skyscrapers but first we need to know what types of structures there are. They’re all quite wordy and full of technical descriptions so we’ve had a go at building little models that represent the different types of structures, for example; braced frame, rigid frame, wall-frame, shear wall, core and outrigger, infilled frame, flat plate & flat slab, tube and coupled.

School Nurse Visit-Washing our Hands

Today the school nurse taught us a song to help us wash our hands and get rid of germs. She brought in a special machine that showed up all the germs. She read us a story and checked that our hands were germ free. Bendigedig pawb!
