Science Enrichment Day!
We have made:
- electrical circuits to make the light bulb light,
- soap bubble prints using paint, washing-up liquid and water,
- erupting volcanoes, using vinegar, washing-up liquid, food colouring and bicarbonate of soda,
- boats out of tin foil and testing to see if they would float or sink,
- growing rainbows with kitchen roll, felt-tip pens, water, paperclips and thread.
Well-being day!
We took part in a music session with Jim, did some gardening and played games with the parachute.
Well-being Day
We then tried out different ways to deal with and calm ourselves down when we feel like we are losing control. The strategies we tried were: mindful colouring, listening to calming music, brain distracting games, different yoga styles and then thought about how playing a musical instrument can help us. We had a fantastic session with Jim, who taught us all about different guitars. We managed to play ‘Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star’ and ‘Crazy Shark’ using Boomwhack instruments which was a lot of fun! Have a look at the photos of our day.

Music Workshop on Well-Being Wednesday!
We really enjoyed our music session with Jim Elliot today. We learnt about different types of guitar, increased our musical vocabulary and also played some tunes on the boomwhackers! It was great fun!
