Captain Green had commissioned the children to organise a party on the last day of term to celebrate how hard they have worked on helping him to save the planet. They produced invitations, thought of party activities and created their own costumes using the principles of the three R’s.
Circus Skills
We loved welcoming Peter and Sharon back to our school to work with children on their physical literacy. The children improved their hand-eye co-ordination, concentration, throwing and catching skills and ambidexterity whilst developing their confidence, self-esteem and perseverance skills.

Music Makers!
Children in Gwennol and Jac Y Do were commissioned to make music using everyday items. The children worked in groups for their compositions. Some groups used items from around the classroom and put them to a different use, whilst other groups used junk materials to make their own instruments. Enterprising, creative contributors.
Shwmae Shwmae!
Children enjoyed using their Welsh language skills to practise their colours and using their incidental Welsh when asking for things during their colouring sessions. They also were able to follow a recipe in Welsh to make some delicious honey flapjacks! Bendigedig! Ambitious, capable learners.
Pyjama Drama
Dosbarth Gwennol welcomed Louise from Pyjama Drama on Friday. Louise worked with the class to create a drama about meeting an alien and helping him clean up our planet. Ethical, informed citizens
Health and Wellbeing Day!
Sukkot!
The children have also been finding out about Harvest and looking at the Jewish festival of Sukkot. They enjoyed working in groups to create their own sukkahs using LEGO, junk materials and natural materials in our forest school area. Ethically informed citizens
