Today we looked at the painting ‘Poppy Fields’ by Vincent Van Goch, linking to our work on Remembrance Day. The children have created their own Poppy Fields artwork, choosing their own media to work with.
We Will Remember!
With Remembrance Day approaching, the children have enjoyed looking at the artwork ‘Field of Poppies’ by Vincent Van Gogh and creating their own artwork. The children have used a variety of materials to create their own poppy field artwork.
The children are looking forward to taking their artwork home to display as way of commemorating Remembrance Day.

- Complete the naming angles sheet with labels acute, obtuse, right
- Complete the comparing angles sheet using greater than/Less than or equal to signs and naming the angles

- the card sort activity to match the vocabulary to its definition (cut and stick the matching pairs)
- the changing states cloze work – add the correct vocabulary to the text
- finally complete your own changing state of water poster using the arrows , boxes and instructions on the final sheet

Moving Pictures!
We have learned about mechanisms and investigated sliders that move up and down or side to side. We then designed and made our own moving pictures. We did an amazing job!
