Lunchtime activities.

Some of the year 5 and 6 children have been making the most of the nice weather and have been helping to dig steps out on the field.

UK Parliament Assembly

We were visited by Claire Dare this afternoon. She came in to tell us about how parliament works and we even had a go at passing a law of our own! It was great fun and we were able to learn a lot.

Jigsaw

As part of Jigsaw this week the children were discussing jobs and professions and ranked them in order of what they thought were the most important.
We also discussed salaries and played a game of guess the profession charades.

Sports Club for R/1.

Isaac and Esme, who are Bronze Sports Ambassadors, have set up a sports club at lunch time for the other classes. Today’s class was with Reception and Year 1. Da iawn Isaac and Esme!

Welsh Quiz.

Gruff from Mentor iaith came in today to do a Welsh based quiz with the class. The children enjoyed participating. Da iawn to the winning team!

First week back
