On Monday 1st March we celebrated St. David’s Day. We dressed in national colours and costumes and we enjoyed a range of activities.
We played yard games outside, such as ‘cath, cath, ci’ and ‘Mae Siemon yn dweud’
We made St David’s Day cards to send to members of our family.
We completed activities on Hwb and some mindfulness activities relating to St. David’s Day.
Dosbarth Eryr and Dosbarth Gwennol have enjoyed celebrating World Book Day by reading the story ‘we’re going on a bear hunt’ by Michael Rossen.
After we read the story, we all went on a bear hunt on the field.
We then thought carefully about the equipment that we would need if we were to go on a bear hunt again. We chose 5 items and we listed them.
We made a story map to help us retell the story. We collected natural materials to help us make our story map.
Hi everyone! Well this is the last week of distance learning before we welcome you all back to school on MONDAY 15th MARCH! It’s going to be lovely to see you all in person again, rather than through a screen!
Here is your literacy work for this week- you will be continuing to write your story. Please read the notes below carefully before you complete your work.

This week we would like you to come up with a ‘trick shot’ of some sort, using a football, rugby ball, tennis ball, whatever ball you may have at home!
Film yourself performing the trick shot if you can.
You may want to research different trick shots if you’re stuck for ideas.
Write instructions on how to complete the trick shot and email them to us or post them on Teams.
We would also like you to complete two 1 mile walks/runs or bike rides this week please.
Please complete the Welsh comprehension work below- you can choose the level you feel comfortable with, there are three different levels. Try to challenge yourself!
There are 3 maths lessons this week and 2 live lessons for maths through Teams. There are special days this week so you will need to look at the separate plans for those days.
