We had an AMAZING afternoon with the Animal Man! We loved the different animals and reptiles and were very brave by holding them. Mrs Evans, Mrs Humphries and Miss Sarah were also very brave and faced their fears too.
Science Enrichment Day!
We have been using our investigative and experimental skills to carry out a range of activities. We have had lots of fun!
We have made:
- electrical circuits to make the light bulb light,
- soap bubble prints using paint, washing-up liquid and water,
- erupting volcanoes, using vinegar, washing-up liquid, food colouring and bicarbonate of soda,
- boats out of tin foil and testing to see if they would float or sink,
- growing rainbows with kitchen roll, felt-tip pens, water, paperclips and thread.

We have discussed how we travel to school and how this has an impact on the environment. Please follow the link above to see our class block graph. We discussed the results and ways we could help the environment by possibly walking to school if we live close enough.

Releasing the Butterflies!!
Today, we released our four beautiful butterflies. As we have looked after them so well, they didn’t want to leave us, but soon flew away. We are going to use our good looking eyes to see if we can find them flying around the Quad tomorrow.
Take a look on our Foundation Phase facebook page to see the videos.
