We have been using our sorting skills to sort living and non-living things, as well as different minibeasts. We worked extremely well together and had lots of interesting discussion throughout.

We have had a very busy afternoon making this beautiful meadow. We studied a meadow and discussed what creatures and animals may live there. We were told that builders wanted to come and build houses on this beautiful meadow and we were worried about what would happen to these creatures and animals. We all worked extremely well together to create this.
Visit from author and poet Dai Woolridge
We had a fantastic morning with Dai Woolridge learning all about rhyming. We thought about how we can create our own poems using rhyming words.

We are learning how to describe our families in Welsh. This week, Year One, have used their reading skills to create sentences to state how many brothers and sisters they have.
Planting seeds with Tom
We have thoroughly enjoyed planting seeds with Tom. We learnt about how we can look after them to make sure they grow.
Celebrating the Coronation

Cinema trip
Everyone had a fantastic time today watching ‘Little Bear’s Big Trip’ at the cinema today!
Walk to Ffryd Woods
We really enjoyed our walk to Ffryd Woods. We looked at all of the different trees and plants and talked about the animals that might live in the woods.
A Surprise Visitor!
We have had an extra class member join us this morning! We have really enjoyed showing the lamb around Hwyaid Bach.
