Owls and Other Nocturnal Animals
We have been extremely busy researching and learning about owls and other nocturnal animals. The children have written amazing kenning poems.

Pumpkin carving
We enjoyed carving pumpkins for our special well-being activity today. Next year, we are going to try and grow our own from the seeds.
Some of our class activities have focused on owls.

We hunted for natural materials on the school field and then designed and made owls.

We have been having lots of fun and laughter today looking after ourselves. We enjoyed playing games.

We have been learning about worms and their habitats.
We have made some wonderful worms out of socks!

We read the instructions and followed the steps to make a paper aeroplane. We enjoyed testing them.

We had a wonderful start to the term. We have been talking about our emotions and reading The Colour Monster.
This week we have been preparing for the Summer Holiday and have focused on staying safe in the sun and beach safety.
The children have designed wonderful sandcastles and have thought about features of the seaside now and in the past.
The children learned about the meaning of different flags on a beach.
