A Visit from John Meredith

Dathliad Dydd Gwyl Dewi at the Knighton Community Centre!

A big DIOLCH YN FAWR to the children who performed at Dathliad Dydd Gwyl Dewi at the Knighton Community Centre on Sunday 2nd of March 2025!

Canu a dawnsio bedigedig, plant! Super singing and dancing, children.

You all looked as if you enjoyed performing! Thank you to the parents for dressing the children in their very smart Welsh outfits.

Dathliad Cymraeg

Today we celebrated Dydd Gwyl Dewi Sant and all of the activities we completed on Wednesday. Each class performed a song. Prizes were awarded for biscuit decorating, handwriting and designing t-shirts. Roedd e’n hwyl.

World Book Day 2025

What a fantastic time we had celebrating World Book Day. We took part in a book walk and role-played the story of the ‘Gruffalo’, had a book picnic outside while eating our snacks and had a Gruffalo treasure hunt in the quad.

Poet in Residence

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of working with poet Cheryl. We thought about ‘Sanctuary’ and what that means to both humans and animals. We then went on to thought shower chosen animals, from ladybirds to wolves. Cheryl then went on to put our ideas into a wonderful poem, ‘Not that Different From You and Me.’
