Today we went for a walk to the library. We were welcomed by Hannah who kindly read us a story and allowed us to use the school library card to borrow some exciting and interesting stories. We had a fabulous time. Many thanks to the volunteers that joined us on the walk.

Children in the Foundation Phase enjoyed a range of activities linked to the story of Jack and the Beanstalk. Here are some of the measuring activities undertaken.
Measuring and recording footprints using non-standard units.
Collecting natural materials that are longer and shorter than the giant’s footprint.
Estimating and measuring the giant’s footprints in centimetres.
