Today we celebrated Dydd Gwyl Dewi Sant and all of the activities we completed on Wednesday. Each class performed a song. Prizes were awarded for biscuit decorating, handwriting and designing t-shirts. Roedd e’n hwyl.

Eisteddfodd!
As part of our Eisteddfodd we decorated some biscuits. We used icing pens to create a design in a Welsh theme. Bendigedig pawb!
Valentines Day/ Cariad!
We went outside and cut some sticks, we then used these to create a heart shape and wrapped wool around to make a valentines heart! Everyone enjoyed, and tried hard. Da iawn pawb!
World Book Day !
We watched a live lesson from Giglets, looking at the story ‘The Magic Paintbrush’. We then went outside in the sunshine and shared some of our books with younger children in the school!

Protecting Yourself and Others from Scams Online
Today, the school E-safety Committee, along with Mrs Blower, led an assembly to introduce Internet Safety day. The focus is protecting yourself and others from online scams. We discussed what a scam is and what you should do if you think you are being scammed.

We learnt about Chinese New Year and how it is celebrated. We created these snakes, as it is the ‘Year of the Snake’.

Outdoor Learning!
We took our digital coding skills outdoors and created a maze/track for our classmates to use coding instructions and lead each other around the maze with their eyes closed! We used instructions like, ‘turn 90degrees right’ ‘take 3 small steps forward’. We looked at the importance of detailed instructions.
