Moving Pictures!

We have learned about mechanisms and investigated sliders that move up and down or side to side. We then designed and made our own moving pictures. We did an amazing job!

Healthy Party Challenge

The Funnybones skeletons would like to organise a party for the people who live in their town. It needs to be fun, exciting but HEALTHY! You will need to complete the following challenges to help the skeletons organise their party:

  • List the people they should invite
  • Write party invitations
  • Create a healthy menu
  • Create a poster to advertise the party
  • Price your party snacks up to 10p each. Find different totals of two snacks. As an extra challenge find the change from 20p.
  • Make a timetable for the party-Draw clocks to show what time the party begins, the time for lunch, time for games and time the party ends.
  • Invent a fun game for the party and tell your grown up how to play it.
  • Make a party hat!

Please remember to save all evidence of work in your child’s Hwb account or email it to your child’s class teacher.

Problem solving!

Eryr have been busy solving mathematical problems this week. The focus was to find as many different possibilities as you could. We saw great team work and perseverance!

Skeleton Dances!

This week we have enjoyed creating our own group skeleton dances in order to help the skeletons win a dance competition. We thought about how skeletons move and worked together to create a fabulous dance!

Hwb-My Files

I have accessed the pupils’ Hwb files and had a tidy! All their recent work is now sitting inside a Spring 20/2020 file. To access work inside the file, click on it, and the files should appear.

Hwb Work

I am so impressed with all the work that is being done and I can see some of you are enjoying using Hwb. If you have saved a piece of work in Hwb I have been able to have a look at what you have done and leave you a comment. You should find a speech bubble on your work with a 1 on. Click on the speech bubble and read my message!

Email Mrs Blower

If any of my class would like to email me and tell me something they have been up to I would love to hear from them! I will try to reply as soon as I can.

Pupils can access their hwb email in Office 365 (on the main hwb page) using outlook. My email address can be found under home learning on the front page of this website.
