Mathematics

We are going to learn all about the four seasons. Ask your family what they know about the four seasons or research information in books you have at home.

Complete the activities on the page.

Now find a piece of paper. Separate it into 4 parts. Write the name of each season in each part. Draw pictures, write words and sentences to record all your knowledge about the seasons.

You can write the names of the months.

You can also research how many days are in each month!

Afternoon Activities

What have you been busy doing over the Christmas Holiday?

Draw a picture that shows what you have been doing and write words and sentences to explain your picture!

Summer Art and Craft

We have used natural materials from around the school grounds to make mud faces and birds nests. We used twigs, moss, dried grass and leaves to make the nests. We thought carefully about the materials we could use to make comfortable nests.

 

Mantle of the Expert

You would be amazed at all the animal experts we have in class!

This week we have been developing our animal park. We are awaiting a new shipment of animals.

 

Green fingers!

Take a look at our cottage garden. The children enjoy looking after their plants. Hopefully, We will have lots of vegetables soon.

Planting

This term the children have been learning about plants. We have planted lots of flowers and vegetables. Look at how they have grown!

Week Beginning Monday 8th March

With Kirsty Williams announcement that all children will return to school on the 15th March, we are pleased to say that this will be our last week of home learning planning.  We look forward to welcoming all the children back . We would like to take this opportunity to thank the children and parents for their continued support during this time.
