Jasmine from Team Wales came into school to do some Judo with KS2. We talked about her career and the competitions she has taken part in and then we had a go at Judo ourselves. We had great fun and enjoyed learning new Judo moves.

In RVE, we created a photo gallery showing things that we found interesting and beautiful. We zoomed in on some of the items so that we can see them in more detail.

We had the pleasure of having a Judo taster session from Team Wales. The children had a great time and enjoyed learning some Judo skills.

Today we were visited by Judo Team Wales. We had a short assembly with Jasmine then some of us had a short session. Pupils learned some rolls, holds and were shown how to throwโฆone lucky pupil was used to demonstrate! There were smiles all roundโฆ hwyl a sbri!
Council Meeting
- We were joined by John Meredith in today’s Worship Council Meetinbg to discuss Expressive Art in RVE. Some of the ideas discussed were about how we could bring more Expressive Arts into RVE.ย Mr Meredith showed us some of his artwork and we thought we could adopt something similar by producing collages depicting each of our values. We also discussed:
- Prayer species in our school / Worship Displays
- Mirrors in the class room
- Target display boards asking โhow are we specialโ
- Word Art for each value
- Our creation artwork based on Dai Woolridge Spoken Word.
- Making a labyrinth
- Easter Assembly โ rehearsals next week in JFโs room

We have been learning about the relationship between multiplication and division. We used a range of resources to help us solve some work problems.

These are some of our entries for the Urdd Arts and Crafts Eisteddfod. We have photography, jewellery, models, paintings, drawings and puppets! Da iawn bawb a phob lลตc!
Forest School
We have been back outside completing some Forest School sessions. This time it was about following the lead of the learners and seeing what they remembered from last time. Everyone remembered the Forest School rules, and the rules around using tools (a knife this time) were also remembered and demonstrated. Den building was a big hit, they used the pegs created by the knives to hold down the tarpaulin and looked at how to tie some different knots.
Healthy Eating / Bwyta'n Iach
In our Jigsaw sessions, we thought about foods that we needed to stay fit and healthy and we created our own fruit kebabs!
