We worked hard to follow instructions and create some bots on some new Lego coding kits. We found this hard work ,but great perseverance and problem solving skills were demonstrated!

Caring for God's Acre - Session 1 Mini-beast Hunt
Children in Years 2 and 3 have started their Eco-Church Project as part of their RVE work. They visited St. Edward’s Church and explored all of the mini-beasts that call the Church grounds their home.

Outdoor Projects 2024!
We are improving our outdoor provision and are very excited to see how the ‘quad’ area and area outside our specialist centre are being transformed! We will keep you updated on progress over the next few weeks!
Discoveries!
The Mantle of the Expert spark for this term is discoveries. The children have discovered a long lost tomb on the side of a mountain in the Valley of the kings. The discovery is reported to the British Museum who dispatch a team of archaeologists to investigate the discovery, open the tomb and catalogue what’s inside. The children will now take on the role of the archaeologists to find out about Ancient Egypt and the treasures discovered. Frindiau'r Byd
In groups, we have been thinking about creation stories from different religions and what they might teach us. We thought of things that are important to our planet and we diamond ranked them. We then looked at the idea of stewardship and the responsibility that we all have in looking after our world. We also thought of things that we could do to care for our planet.

Dathliad Cymraeg
The whole school have worked extremely hard to make Dydd Dathliad Cymraeg a huge success. The children’s attitude to the competitions and ’round robin’ of activities have been exceptional. Excellent performances by all classes delivering a Welsh song. Well done to all of our competition winners and all children for participating in the competitions.
