Year 6 transition day

Hello Yellow

A day to show young people they are not alone with their mental health, so we spent the day doing things that boost our well-being!
We started with our class assembly (which did give some a nervous feeling) and then parents joined us in class to sit with their child and look at what they have achieved so far this term.

Pupils then spent some time watching videos of themselves from when they were younger. After break we had a games sessionโ€ฆUNO, Twister, Jenga, Dobble or colouring in. Quality time with friends, away from screens! Lunch was followed by paining and some games outside!

Engineers in action!

Energy for Change were very impressed with our information texts explaining ‘how windmills work’ So they challenged our team of engineers to make an electrical circuit. Here are some of our resilient investigators experimenting with building their circuits.
