Caru Duw, Caru Pawb, Caru Dysgu
We have been back outside completing some Forest School sessions. This time it was about following the lead of the learners and seeing what they remembered from last time. Everyone remembered the Forest School rules, and the rules around using tools (a knife this time) were also remembered and demonstrated. Den building was a big hit, they used the pegs created by the knives to hold down the tarpaulin and looked at how to tie some different knots.
In our Jigsaw sessions, we thought about foods that we needed to stay fit and healthy and we created our own fruit kebabs!
A lovely afternoon in the sunshine exploring our natural world and talking about the interesting things that we found.
What a lovely way to end the term! Year Five buddied up with dosbarth Eryr to read stories in the sunshine. Thank you Year Five!
A massive well done to everyone that took part in the annual Powys Cross-Country. A very challenging course made even harder in the heat, with everyone competing showing great perseverance and support throughout the day. Da iawn pawb!
Aderyn Du and Barcud Coch really enjoyed planning their play this term! We hope you enjoyed watching as much as we did performing!
Today Year One discussed physical contact and we created our own special ways to greet our friends. We both had to feel comfortable with the contact. There were lots of high fives and fist bumps!
As part of our Mantle, we have been looking at deforestation. We decided to paint some trees on stones after looking at how important it was to save our trees!
This year our play was inspired by Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Pupils have worked to create new characters and scenes, and wrote the scripts themselves. They have worked hard and a short schedule, hopefully everyone enjoyed the show!
