Final rollercoaster models

After several weeks of researching, designing and trialing, we finally completed our rollercoaster models to take to Knighton town council!

Human rights

We’ve been very busy learning all about the human rights! To help us, we created a human rights rap and made some human rights mini displays.

Christmas Fayre

We’ve had a fantastic time creating and selling some Christmas products at the Christmas Fayre, raising a total amount of £110.50!!

Well-being day!!

Years 2, 3 and 4 enjoyed a variety of activities to celebrate a well deserved well-being day! This included having a go at some blind football and blind obstacle course, and learning how to play some new games using unfamiliar technology.

Urdd competitors

A massive Da Iawn to the Urdd members that represented the school in the Urdd County Cross-Country and in the regional round of the Cogurdd and Popurdd. Arbennig!

Spaghetti Rollercoaster building

We have been busy designing our rollercoaster and have now started to build a start for our rollercoaster using spaghetti and marshmallows to hold a piece of track ‘ruler’ up. We had a very sticky but fun time and used this practice ready for the big build!

Measuring Bryny!!

As part of our mantle, we decided to pick some possible plots to build our rollercoaster on and decided that Bryny would be the most suitable because it was flat, big and had a car park near by. We then went over to Bryny and measured the area and perimeter using trundle wheels and drones to help measure accurately.
