Y5 JIGSAW PSHE LESSON
We have begun this half term’s topic of ‘changes’
Work with our Diocesan Director of Education, John Meredith
We have been looking at the work of Welsh artist, Jeremy Thomas, and have produced our own work based on his theme, ‘The Human One’-As ‘Artist in Residence’ at St Mary’s Priory he has been working on a series of thirty oil paintings that illustrate the Life, Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. We will post our work up here when it is finished for you to look at!

Jubilee Celebrations!
What a fabulous end to half term celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee out on the playground. It was lovely for us to be able to come together after such a long time!

The children were keen to jot down their ideas about what they would like to learn next term, for our ‘Out of this world!’ topic. They worked in groups to discuss what they would like to explore further for each of the six areas of learning.

CELL DANCE IMPELO!
We welcomed Impelo dance group in to school today. We watched a dance about cells in our body and then took part in a dance workshop that helped us understand more about how the different cells in the body work!
