Mista Urdd

We have had a fantastic afternoon meeting Mista Urdd. Rhiannon Walker told us about The Urdd and what we can do to be part of it. Mista Urdd had some very good dance moves and entertained us all.

Diolch yn fawr.

Welcome Back Everyone!

We hope you have all had a super Summer Holiday and are ready for another amazing year.

The children are all so grown up now and are walking in by themselves in the mornings. They are settling in so well and we would like to thank you all for your continued support with this.

Chinese New Year Day

WOW!! We loved dressing up for Chinese New Year.

We have all had so much fun today celebrating Chinese New Year with the whole of the Foundation Phase.

We have been so busy, cooking stir fry, making a Dragon for the Chinese Dragon Dance, building the Great wall of China and using our fine motor skills to colour some very tricky Chinese colouring.

Important things to remember

Please label all of your child’s clothes – uniform, coats, P.E. kits, book bags and wellies.

Please be aware that we do have a child with a severe nut allergy, therefore please do not send any product containing nuts into school. Thank you.

Monday and Thursday: Change home readers.

Thursday: P.E. kit (all children)

Please could you read with your child as regularly as possible and write a comment in their yellow book.

As we are a Healthy School, we encourage the children to bring in a piece of fruit for their morning break. It is also possible to buy bananas and apples from Sarah in the office for 30p. Please note that only fresh fruit or raisins/sultanas can be eaten at break time.

If there is anything you would like to discuss with us then please feel free to make an appointment at the office. We are always happy to help.

Thank you for your support.

Miss S Davies, Mrs E Wozencraft, Miss M Evans and Mrs Bywater.
